Perimet: Masks

All humans in Perimet wear a mask from the moment of their birth. The mask signifies the caste of the wearer: silver-masked Highborn, bronze-masked warriors, copper-masked merchants, wood-masked farmers, and cloth-masked slaves. A Perimetin only takes off their mask when they sleep alone and never shows their face to anyone. There are two mirrors in Perimet: one in the chambers of the Rego, and one in the Chambers of the Princina, and both Royals are clad in Glamor, never to see their natural faces.
