Roko: Denizens of the Mountain Ring

The stone bears originally inhabited broad swaths of Roko and Perimet, but were driven out of the Center Kingdom thousands of years ago. Now these highly intelligent, powerful, and aggressive beasts roam the feet of the great mountains of Roko, feasting on anything they find. Their hard rock skins make them almost impossible to kill.

The golem is a creature of mud and rock evicted from Perimet during the war with Roko. It is devoid of emotion and seeks only to feed. There is no known way to kill a golem.

The obsidian sword is a mountain hunter's close-in fighting weapon. It is a shaped and sharpened, heat-treated obsidian shard the length of a hunter's arm. One fashions the sword by cracking a large block of obsidian with heated water, then using a piece of hardened iron to chip away the stone into profile. The stone is then wrapped in kapro skin before being baked at a low temperature for several days to toughen it.
